RPI Price Increase Cancelled

30th March 2020

NTE recognise the significant hardship which the announcement of a national lockdown will cause to many of our customers and their businesses.  To this end we will not apply the planned price increase on the 1st April 2020.  We hope that this measure will provide support to our customers during this difficult time.  If you wish to discuss your services, home working options or to arrange call diversions please contact support@nte.works.

RPI Price Increase

1 March 2020

From 1 April 2020, NTE Limited is applying a price increase to its monthly charges for fixed line services to help cover the increased operating costs. The following products will be affected by the RPI price increase of 2.7% applied as standard:

  • Analogue line rental
  • ISDN2 / 30 line rental
  • Associated fixed line rental services, including broadband

In line with Ofcom’s regulations, small businesses (with ten employees or fewer), who pay recurring charges for fixed line rental, broadband or mobile services, have the right to withdraw from their contract for the affected services without paying early termination charges. The right for small businesses to exit their contract without penalty applies only to contracts entered into on or after 23 January 2014. The small business customer must exercise this right within 30 days of receiving this notice and the small business customer must give NTE Limited not less than 30 days written notice of its intention to terminate its contract.

If you are unsure about how these changes might affect you or to discuss your account, please call one of our specialist advisors on 0345 034 6622 or email support@nte.works.

Caller Display & ISDN Calling Line Identification (CLIP)

1 September 2018

Following changes to Ofcom’s General Conditions of Entitlement, which all communications providers must follow to operate in the UK, we are now pleased to offer Caller Display and ISDN CLIP services Free of Charge to our customers. Caller Display and CLIP allow you, as the called party, to receive the telephone number of the person calling you (unless withheld), helping you screen unwanted calls. If you already have this service, you do not need to do anything, we will automatically adjust your current pricing so that the service is free of charge from the 1st October 2018. If you do not have this service enabled and would like to receive it please contact support on 0345 034 6622 or email support@nte.works with your request.

Note: To use this feature you will need a compatible telephone handset with Caller Display capability. If you have a telephone system / PBX installed you may need to contact your PBX maintainer to ensure your system is programmed to present the calling number on your handsets. Depending on your maintenance agreement, programming changes may be deemed as chargeable.
