On Sunday 12th September, our Channel Marketing Manager, Emily Mason, participated in the 40th Great North Run to raise money for Carers Trust Tyne and Wear.
NTE has worked with Carers Trust for several years now, delivering mobile technology to improve communication between carers.
We asked Emily why she chose Carers Trust to fundraise for, “I chose to run for Carers Trust as the past year in a pandemic has highlighted how crucial carers are to so many people’s well-being. The work these unpaid carers do is life-changing for both parties and, their selflessness needs to be recognised and rewarded“.
With NTE’s match funding, Emily raised a total of £647 to support the amazing work Carers Trust Tyne and Wear do in the local area.
